Traceloop's Signal-Driven Path to 90 Qualified Meetings

"Every other outbound vendor sells you volume and hope. Spear delivered 90 real meetings with the accounts that mattered – from day one, driven by signals we couldn't spot ourselves. It didn't feel like outbound. It felt like unfair advantage."

About Traceloop

Traceloop builds LLM observability for the teams shipping AI into production. Founded by Nir Gazit and Gal Kleinman and built on open standards (OpenTelemetry), the platform gives engineers the visibility to monitor, debug and trust their LLM-powered systems as they scale. Its buyers are precise and technical: Directors and VPs of AI, Heads of AI Product, and the Principal, Staff and ML engineers doing the work. That specificity is what makes reaching them hard, and what makes getting it right so valuable. Traceloop grew on the strength of that focus all the way through to its acquisition by ServiceNow, where its technology now extends the observability stack for enterprise AI.

The Problem

Traceloop's strongest outbound asset was the credibility of its founders – but founder time is the scarcest resource a startup has. A generic "AI" filter floods a pipeline with the wrong people, and their buyers are the kind who see cold outreach every day and ignore almost all of it. Traceloop needed to reach a narrow, highly technical ICP with genuine context, capitalize on the industry events where those buyers actually gather, and do all of it without pulling Nir and Gal off product and customers.

"They operated as an extension of my exec team, not a vendor. Signal-driven, executive-led, zero volume nonsense. The bi-weekly syncs made it feel like we'd hired a full GTM function overnight."
Gal Kleinmancofounder, Traceloop

The Solution

Spear ran outbound from both founders' LinkedIn profiles in parallel, pairing sharp targeting with signal-driven, context-first messaging. Instead of broad title filters, campaigns were built around Traceloop's real ICP – AI leaders, product managers and hands-on ML/AI engineers – with a dedicated OpenTelemetry angle for the most technical segment. Spear built event-driven campaigns around the moments those buyers cluster (AI Engineer World Fair, World Summit AI, AWS re:Invent, AI Dev Summit), and kept refining the ICP into tighter, higher-converting variants as the data came in. Every request led with a real reason to connect, so outreach read like a founder reaching out – not a sequence firing. Bi-weekly syncs kept the whole engine aligned to Traceloop's goals.

"Spear generated 90 qualified meetings with the exact accounts we were targeting. That pipeline changed the trajectory of the company."
Gal Kleinmancofounder, Traceloop

The Impact

The engine produced 90 qualified meetings with exactly the profiles Traceloop wanted, from 8,309 targeted connection requests, 3,132 new connections (~38% acceptance) and more than 1,000 real conversations. Meetings landed with senior AI and engineering leaders at companies including Salesforce, Intuit, HubSpot, Red Hat, Snowflake, Cloudflare, Check Point, Wiz, Moody's, Informatica, Zalando, Amadeus and MathWorks – pipeline that supported Traceloop's growth right through to its acquisition by ServiceNow.

Turn Triggers Into Pipeline

With Spear, companies leverage trigger-based outbound to craft a quality-driven GTM motion that actually books meetings.
