Which calendar link should I use?

This is straightforward if your LinkedIn profile is connected to Spear and you're taking the calls with prospects — in this case, connect your own calendar link.

However at Spear, we can connect the LinkedIn profile of a senior team member (often a C-Level) — who is more likely to achieve outbound success while allowing another team member to manage the profile and take prospect calls. Here are our suggestions for how managing the calendar link:

Option 1 – Create a calendar link with the company name For example: "Spear-Intro-Call." This should be reflected in both the meeting URL and the booking page that prospects see. During the call, the team member can explain that their colleague was unable to attend and that they are stepping in as a replacement.

Option 2 – Create a 2-person calendar link This link should include both the LinkedIn profile holder and the team member taking the call. The prospect will see the name of the person they've been engaging with (avoiding confusion), and during the call the actual caller can explain that their colleague was unable to attend.

And remember - we recommend integrating the Calendar link with Spear to help you keep track of meetings that actually got booked -- here is a link to an article on how to do this.
